Cricket Wireless $5 Reactivation FEE

Now that Cricket Wireless is coming into the multi-carrier stores, I think it’s a terrible idea to charge customers that have options and lots of it, a reactivation fee of $5 if the customer is a day late.

Terrible idea.

I may understand if the customer is a few days late and you still want to charge a $5 reactivation fee, but now that you guys are in multi-carrier locations, it’s just a terrible idea.

The customer has options now to port over to AT&T Prepaid, H2O Wireless and even Net10.

Most likely the customer got the phone for the multi-carrier location so the phone is most likely unlocked or AT&T locked which just makes it easier to use it on another AT&T mvno.

Also, Cricket Wireless for us dealer is most likely using INCOMM to activate the service and pay for the monthly recharge, so why is that if the customer’s service is off, we can’t even make payment for it?

Cricket Wireless, you need to take a look at these two issues… really.

If you want to make it in the multi-carrier locations, think about the $5 reactivation fee and us, dealers, not being able to make payment via INCOMM if the service is off.
